Passionate about live experiences
Founded in Cornwall, "South West Sonic" is run by Jimmy Marshall, A BSC (Hons) Sound Technology graduate who grew up in Falmouth and has been working in the industry since 2012. He brings together technical expertise and a genuine love for live experiences. What Jimmy loves more than watching a great band, is watching a great band and being able to tweak every element of their sound to taste. "SWS" work closely with event organisers, musicians, churches and corporate clients across the region to ensure every live experience runs smoothly.
What my clients say about me
"Thank you very much for live-streaming my mother's funeral last month. I have had many messages from friends and relatives, who were unable to attend, who were grateful for the opportunity to feel part of the ceremony from a distance"
Pippa Jones., Daughter of deceased
"Jimmy has been doing the sound and lighting for us at the Tolmen Centre for the past two years, and has proved himself irreplaceable. Visiting performers are universally enthusiastic about his sensitive and efficient technical skills, and he is a pleasure to work with, being both calm and competent"
Dougal Jeffries., Event Organiser
“Jimmy is a highly experienced and thoroughly professional sound engineer. Attentive, helpful and a real pleasure to work with, he made everything run smoothly — we very much hope to work with him again in the future.”
Max & Veronica., Touring Musicians from Italy
"Hi Jimmy, thankyou so much for all you did. It was a lovely service. I would love a copy of the video to share with family & friends. Thankyou, Kate"
